Hope and her husband Justin joined Citizens in the Fall of 2020 and immediately felt a sense of peace and belonging here, which was a direct answer to our prayer when they moved to the Kernersville area. Since becoming Partners at Citizens, they have found great friends and love serving each week to help others experience the love and care God has for them through the local church.
Hope also works as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Restoration Place Counseling in Greensboro where she gets the honor of walking with women through some of life’s toughest moments. She passionate about how faith and mental health services can work together to provide healing, so please ask her about it if you have questions about therapy and don’t know where to start!
In her free time, Hope loves going running with my overly friendly yellow labrador, watching sports with her husband, playing with their 4 month old son and spending time with their friends and family.
What is my hope for Citizens?
“My hope for Citizens is that we continue to grow in number and depth in our relationship with God, so that we can go into our spheres of influence and fulfill our mission of seeing all people brought near and built up through a relationship with Jesus.”
